During this time of pandemic and upcoming School Holiday here in South Australia, you can check the Australian Space Discovery Centre in the McEwin Building, in Lot Fourteen on the east end of North Terrace in Adelaide.
At the Australian Space Discovery Centre, you can explore the latest innovations in space technologies. Learn about Australia’s role in space and be inspired by stories of opportunity, curiosity and technology.
People of all ages are welcome to experience the Discovery Centre, however, our visitor experience is intended for ages 12 and above.
Here is my simple video when I visited the centre :
The Discovery Centre aims to inspire the next generation of the space workforce with stories of innovation, curiosity and technology.
It offers a place for the community to meet and explore the latest innovations in space technologies. This is where you can learn about Australia’s role in expanding national and international space activities.
The Discovery Centre is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Timed, ticketed sessions run from 10am. The last session starts at 4:30pm. Each session runs for 60 minutes.
You must purchase your tickets in advance.
Tickets must be pre-booked online for all visitors in your group, including babies, children and carers. Tickets are not available at the door. We recommend booking early as tickets for each session are limited.
The Discovery Centre is free to the public.
